Delea A Marca participates in the 1st Huelva Wine Meeting, which will bring together local wineries and El Bierzo ones
The wines of Condado de Huelva, of course Delea A Marca included, and those from the region of El Bierzo from León, will be twinned in the Plaza de España of La Palma del Condado (Huelva) during the celebration of the 1st Wine Meeting of Huelva. Organized by the Association of Friends of Wine of the County of Huelva, the event will ocurr during the next days 15 and 16 March.
The president of the event, the winemaker Mario Garay, commented in the presentation of the activities that will take place during both days that this initiative “is a madness that arose from the president of the aforementioned association, Manuel Astasio, and with it what we intend is create synergies with other wine regions of Spain “. Garay also noted that with this twinning between the wineries of both regions what “we also seek is to promote our wine” and added that the intention of the organizers is to carry out as many editions as wine producing areas exist in this country.
The official opening of the exhibitors will take place at 18.45 on Friday, while on Saturday the program will open at 11.00, with a Professional Showroom, for distributors and hoteliers in Western Andalusia, and the subsequent opening of tents to the general public, from 1:00 p.m.
Among the activities scheduled for March 15 and 16, it should be noted that next Friday, at 4:30 p.m., at the Teatro de España in the town, there will be a Winelovers (wine lovers on social networks and youtube) in which will intervene: Fran León (@_FranLeon); Txema Marín (@U_Explores); Alma Alanís (@almajefi); Claudio García (5minutosdevino.com); José Miguel Barrón (@probandoGastro) and Ruth Amaya (ruthamaya.sherry).
Later, at 5.30 pm, the director Clara Isamat’s documentary titled “Liquid Revolution” will be premiered, in which the figure of the sommelier is currently shown through the eyes of three protagonists who share their experience. This act will be presented by the board of directors and the sommelier José A. Barragán.
At 7.30 pm there is a Masterclass which is called ‘impossible marriage’ and which will use wines, brandies and vermouths from El Bierzo and Huelva.
In total there will be twenty wineries that will participate in this meeting: ten from the Huelva county and another ten from the Leon region. On the part of Condal, the relationship is as follows: Garay Wineries and Vineyards, Cooperativa Vinícola del Condado, Bodegas Delea A Marca, Bodegas Juncales, Bodegas Cerro de San Cristóbal, Bodegas Infante, Cooperativa Nuestra Señora de Guía, Bodegas Iglesias, Cooperativa Nuestra Señora del Socorro and Bodegas Vega Moro; while at El Bierzo they will attend: Estévez Bodegas y Viñedos, Valtuille Wines, Prada A Tope, Luna Beberide Wineries and Vineyards, Puerta del Viento Wines, Peique Bodegas y Viñedos, Dementia de Autor, Bodegas Luzdivina Amigo, Aurelio Feo Viticulturist and Gancedo Bodegas and Vineyards In each of the exhibitors that are installed in the central square will be located two wineries with their respective wines, one from Huelva and another from El Bierzo.
